So much more than your average art lesson. I no longer dreaded Sunday nights or Monday mornings! Enrolling on this course was one of the best decisions I had made, I learnt so much and left with many wonderful memories. I would encourage everyone to take this course, you will love it.

Collage & Mixed Media Course -

A NEW course for our adults looking at mix media and collage. Throw out your pre-conceptions that this course is just about scissors & glue. It's much more than that & will still incorporate drawing, painting & printmaking.
We will be looking at some famous collage artists over this course, and learning from their practice, as well as looking at non-collage artists and responding to their works in mix-media; more than one medium at a time.
This course will provide you with more tools and skills in your ‘tool-kit’ for art making, as well as the opportunity to connect and collaborate with like minded people.
Set in the beautiful Old Brewery at The Promise Co, the log burner will be on to welcome you each Monday as well as brews and biccies throughout.
We also plan a trip to the galleries in Manchester as part of this course to look at artists’ work which we are studying.

- Multi media – developing your skills in drawing, ink, acrylic, pastel, watercolour, print etc.
